![]() sponge comes in a similar packaging as the Real Techniques but it doesn’t feel as durable.Įither way who cares about packaging right? Well I actually do because it is the first impression that you get of the product and it can sometimes offer added benefits. It’s very easy to open and it feels fairly durable. Somewhere in the middle we have the Real Techniques one that comes in a typical hard plastic outer shell packaging, like one of those that annoy you until you open them but this one is actually not annoying. It’s plastic and not very fancy but it is round and it extenuates the beauty blender sponge. The Beauty Blender definitely comes in the most unique and eye catching packaging. ![]() Which sponge is the best? Do they all work? Are they different? And more importantly, which one is worth your time and money? As a result, here we have a high end (Beauty Blender), middle end (Real Techniques) and lower end (B.) sponge battle. I’ve also tried some cheaper alternatives and another hyped up sponge, the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge.Īlso check out: Real Techniques Makeup Sponges – Are the different colours and shapes just gimmicks?įor this comparison I am taking the Beauty Blender makeup sponge vs the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge vs the B. Like everyone, I’ve tried the famous Beauty Blender which has been such a big success that now all makeup sponges of that type are referred to as beauty blenders even though they are not from the brand. I mean, you can do that with your fingers too! As a result, for me a makeup sponge is super important and is not just a simple tool for applying foundation. If I spend ages trying to fill them in I definitely don’t want the bristles of a brush digging them out. I have come across some amazing brushes that can apply foundation very well, however, since I am an oily skin type, I have pores the size of craters and I find that brushes tend to uncover them all. When it comes to applying foundation, my preferred method is still by using a sponge.
